Turning photos into proof without slowing reps down

Field Ops / May 9, 2026

How to collect useful photo evidence while keeping the field workflow fast and natural.

Photos need a job

Photo capture works best when each image has a clear purpose. A shelf photo can verify availability. A price tag can confirm compliance. A display shot can prove execution or surface a blocker.

Without that job, photos become a folder managers do not have time to inspect.

Ask for fewer, better images

The rep should not become a photographer. Tempo should ask for the angles that answer the operating question.

  • Wide shelf photo for availability
  • Close price photo for price checks
  • Display photo for promo execution
  • Blocker photo when work cannot be completed

Read the image against context

The useful question is not "what is in this photo?" The useful question is "does this photo match what should be happening in this store today?"

That is where product lists, price books, promo calendars, and store memory become valuable.
