When to automate and when to ask for approval
A simple boundary model for deciding which field actions Tempo can draft, queue, recommend, or commit.

Not every action should be automatic
Autonomy works best when the boundary is explicit. Some actions can be committed immediately. Others should be drafted, queued, or recommended for a manager.
The goal is not to remove control. The goal is to remove repetitive coordination while keeping judgment where it matters.
Four useful action modes
- Draft when the message or task needs review
- Queue when the next step is obvious but timing matters
- Recommend when tradeoffs or customer risk are involved
- Commit when the rule is safe and the outcome is reversible
Keep the reason visible
Every action should carry the evidence and rule that produced it. Managers move faster when they can see why Tempo suggested the step, what proof supports it, and what will happen next.
